By CryptPundit | Real Tales from the Blockchain

Back in early 2021, NFTs were still a joke to most of the world. But I saw something brewing — digital ownership was about to go mainstream.

That’s when I stumbled on a new PFP project launching on Ethereum. Mint price? 0.03 ETH (~$90 at the time). No roadmap. Just vibes and great pixel art.

I minted 3 and forgot about them. Literally. Months passed.

💥 Then It Happened...

One random night, I got a notification:

> "Your NFT received an offer: 6 ETH."

I thought it was a scam.

But it wasn’t.

Checked OpenSea: floor price was 5.8 ETH and rising. Hype was real. Influencers were talking. Discord was exploding.

I sold 1 NFT for 6 ETH (~$18,000 at that time).

Held the other two and sold them weeks later for another $22,000 combined.

🎓 What I Learned:

✅ Early conviction pays — not everything needs utility on day one.

✅ Community drives value, not just art.

✅ Have an exit plan — I didn’t fall in love with the JPEG, I sold the hype.

Today, I still mint occasionally, but smarter. I never chase. I plant seeds.
