A few weeks ago, I invested in a coin called Chainbase on Binance. I got in early during the alpha phase, thinking it would skyrocket after being listed publicly.
At that time, the price was around $0.50, and I believed it was a smart move. But soon after, the coin started going down... and down fast. Within days, it dropped to $0.39, then to $0.28.
I was shocked. My $2.50 investment started shrinking, and I felt helpless. I kept checking the price, hoping it would bounce back, but it didn’t.
I started feeling:
Anxious
Disappointed
Like I had made a dumb mistake
But after calming down, I decided to learn from it instead of just feeling bad. Here's what this small loss taught me:
💡 What I Learned:
1. Just because a coin is new, doesn’t mean it will pump
2. Always research the project deeply — team, purpose, tokenomics
3. Never invest emotionally or follow hype
4. Only invest money you can afford to lose
5. Even losses teach valuable lessons in crypto
This was my first loss, but it won’t be my last experience. I’m still learning, and I’ll keep improving. Crypto is not just about profits — it’s about growth, patience, and wisdom.
Thanks for reading. I hope this helps someone who is feeling the same. Don’t give up. 💪
