Shares of companies related to cryptocurrency sharply surged amid the rapid increase in the price of Ethereum, which reached a yearly high. This dynamics is observed after President Donald Trump signed the regulation law for stablecoins - the so-called GENIUS Act.

This law was passed by the House of Representatives last Thursday with a majority vote of 308 to 122 and is significant for the cryptocurrency industry, which has long sought legislative regulation to enhance its legitimacy.

It is expected that the regulation of stablecoins will open new opportunities for the decentralized finance market.
