There is something interesting about Realized Profit vs Floating Profit.

I started using the spot grid bot from February 24, 2025, which means it has been 5 months, and if the total profit from all bots is compared to the total capital of the bot, there has been a 15% realized profit.

If we hold Bitcoin from mid-February until now, let's assume Bitcoin has risen from $100 thousand to $118 thousand, which means an 18% floating profit.

Indeed, in terms of profit, holding Bitcoin since mid-February is more profitable, but that is still in the form of floating profit; if all that Bitcoin is sold, then that 18% becomes realized profit.

Meanwhile, the 15% profit from the spot grid bot is already in the form of realized profit in USDT.

Here lies an important difference, it's like saying, "Hooray, I made a 20% profit from holding crypto!" but if you really want to make that much profit, you have to sell the crypto, so are you brave enough to sell?

This is different from the profit from the spot grid bot, which is already realized profit in the form of USDT.
