#BTCvsETH The ETH/BTC ratio repeats the previous peak pattern
Since June 2025, the ratio of Ethereum to Bitcoin (ETH/BTC) has risen from 0.021 to 0.031, representing a 50% increase in Ethereum's strength compared to Bitcoin. The current price of Ethereum is $3,753, which is approximately the same level it was at in October 2021, before the ratio rose by 30% in just five weeks, a movement that pushed the price of ETH to an all-time high of $4,878.
At that time, the 30% rise in the ratio coincided with Ethereum's rise from $3,800 to $4,870, amounting to a price gain of nearly 28%. If the ratio follows the same path from the current level, a similar rise of 28% from $3,753 could push Ethereum to the range of $4,800–$4,900, which is approximately the same breakout area as before.
If the psychological resistance level (previous peak) is surpassed, there may not be significant resistances until a new price level exceeds $5,000.
The ETH/BTC ratio is an indicator of Ethereum's performance compared to Bitcoin and often precedes major upward movements. Currently, the ratio has already risen by more than 50% since June and continues to show strong momentum through bullish moving average crossover signals.
