A highly experienced crypto trader with over 12 years of trading experience fell victim to a sophisticated scam. He invested over $100,000 (1 lakh USD) into a project named TRUSTA.AI, thinking it was genuine. Everything looked perfect — polished website, real-time counter, and even a presale timer. But it was all fake.
🔴 The biggest shock? He found the link through an official-looking X (Twitter) post from “Trustalabs” — yes, what appeared to be a legitimate handle. There was an attractive promo image. He clicked it, was redirected, and made the purchase — thinking it was the real deal.
💥 The tokens were never received. The “Withdraw” button never worked. Last night, the trader broke down emotionally and reportedly attempted .....cide Thankfully, he was rescued in time. But the pain remains.
When he was asked how he ended up on the scam site, he said:
> “I saw a post on the official Trustalabs Twitter page. I liked the design. I clicked it and never realized I was redirected to a duplicate site. The FOMO blinded me.”
This is not a newbie. He’s a pro. If it could happen to him, it can happen to anyone.
