#BTCvsETH Ethereum aims for November for the Fusaka update

Ethereum developers plan to launch the Fusaka hard fork in early November. This update follows Pectra, which was released earlier this year and introduced account abstraction and changes to staking.

Fusaka will include 11 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), particularly EIP-7825, which aims to increase resistance to malicious attacks while improving performance.

The development network for Fusaka is expected to start operating on Wednesday, and public test networks will follow in late September and October.

The update will also increase Ethereum's gas limit to 150 million. However, some proposals, such as EIP-7907, which would have allowed for larger contracts and a new gas measurement, have been cut to keep development on track. The long-debated EVM Object Format has also been omitted.
