#GENIUS稳定币法案
The U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, Becerra, just spoke online, saying that the money we use may undergo significant changes in the future! He posted on Twitter, saying that the payment system will rely on blockchain technology, and even the U.S. dollar will be put on the blockchain. This sounds quite mysterious, but he seems to be speaking with authority.
If this matter comes to fruition, we have to thank Trump for his big mouth. Although he usually speaks unreliably, this time it seems he has actually accomplished something. There's also a senator named Bill Hagerty, who has been quite active in Congress. They put together something called the 'GENIUS Act,' which is reportedly aimed at ensuring that the dollar continues to be the world's top currency.
We common folks might not fully understand these high technologies, but simply put, it may become more convenient to use money in the future. Just think about it; transferring money now takes ages. If what they say is true, in the future we might be able to just tap our phones, and the money would arrive instantly, without worrying about banks closing. However, whether this is reliable or not, we still need to wait and see.
To be honest, I still haven't figured out what blockchain really is. But from what I've heard, this technology can make money safer and prevent counterfeiting. If that’s the case, it would be a good thing. The only concern is whether it will be convenient for ordinary people to use, so we don't end up with a situation like the current QR code payments, where young people can handle it, but the elderly are left frustrated.
The whole world is watching; if the U.S. really manages to pull this off, the status of the dollar will be even more secure.
