When risk management saves your trades! 🚨
💥 XVG/USDT — 10.37% on the pump, but what would have happened without proper risk control?
What happened:
Entry: I bought XVG at 0.008018, after which the price sharply jumped to 0.008596.
Fixation: I closed the position on the reversal, securing a 2.37% profit.
🔥 But here’s the important part: even during the pump, risk management prevents my trades from turning into a disaster.
What I did:
Set a stop-loss immediately after entry at -1%.
Trailing stop: as soon as the price went into profit, the stop-loss was moved to break-even and even started working as a trailing stop.
Volume management: I only risked 1-3% of the deposit on a single trade.
💡 Moral: even in the hottest pumps, when emotions run high, proper risk management will not let you lose more than you are willing to.
