Beginner's First Lesson in the Crypto Circle: It's Not About Lack of Skill, But Poor Position Control
Let's start with a truth
80% of liquidations in the crypto market are unrelated to skill,
there's just one reason: position was not controlled well!
No matter how good your skills are, or how right your direction is,
if you go all in with a heavy position, a single pullback will wipe you out.
I've seen too many beginners, who just enter the market, ask:
"Bro, can I get in at this point?"
"Can I make a big bet on this trend?"
Brother, it’s not the market's fault; it's your position that is wrong, which means you're gambling your life on the market!
Many people don't fail due to wrong trades,
but because they make large bets on the right trades, keep losing on wrong ones, and lose control over drawdowns.
I was young once,
when I first started trading crypto, I liked to go all in, gamble, and rely on luck.
I made moves as fierce as a tiger, only to see 250... (USD) in my account
Later, after some painful lessons, I finally understood a fundamental principle:
Position Control = Survival, Mental Control = Recovery.
Now I only do three things:
1. Always take small test positions
Each position no more than 10%-15% of total capital,
If you can't win, you can still survive; if you win, then smoothly increase your position and enjoy the profits!
2. Set stop losses, don't change or hold on
If the market goes against you, immediately stop loss;
A stop loss is not a loss, but a "life-saving talisman."
3. Split positions to combat emotions
A single losing trade won't affect your mindset,
Enter in batches, take profits in batches, and trading will naturally stabilize.
Now, my trading is very simple:
One clear direction, only trade a clearly structured segment
Risk control first, position control to the point
Profits roll steadily, not seeking explosions, just longevity
And the result?
The account is as stable as an old dog
Drawdowns are always less than 5%,
Monthly steady growth, even if the market is volatile, I still profit
To the new brothers, I advise you to understand early:
"It’s not the position that determines the outcome, but whether you can survive to the day of profit."
If you don’t control your position today, you will be liquidated tomorrow.
If you don’t learn today, you’ll be crying to recover your losses tomorrow.
