💥 TOP 5 mistakes that made me lose money in crypto (and how I would avoid them today)
Yes, I lost money in crypto. A lot. But I also learned a lot.
Today I share with you the 5 most common mistakes I made, so you don't have to go through the same. If you're just starting out, save this post. And if you're already a holder, tell me if it happened to you too 👇
❌ 1. Investing without understanding the project
I bought tokens just because I saw they were 'trending.' I never read a whitepaper or understood the use case.
📉 Result: I bought high, sold low.
💡 Today: I don't invest in anything I can't explain in one sentence.
❌ 2. FOMO at all-time highs
I entered many cryptos when they were already soaring, thinking they would keep rising.
📈 Result: the market corrected and I was stuck in losses for months.
💡 Today: I buy in moments of boredom, not euphoria.
❌ 3. Not taking profits
“I’m going to the moon,” I said. I saw a x2 or x3 and didn't sell even a part. Then, everything collapsed.
📉 Result: from having profits, I ended up with losses.
💡 Today: I always withdraw something on every strong rise. The game is to win, not to hit the peak.
❌ 4. Not diversifying
I fell in love with just one crypto and put all my capital into it. “This project is the future,” I repeated.
📉 Result: bad decision, and without a safety net.
💡 Today: I always create a balanced portfolio (blue chips + controlled bets).
❌ 5. Following influencers without doing my own analysis
I bought tokens because “the YouTuber recommended it.” Not knowing that maybe they were paid for that...
📉 Result: I bought smoke. Literally.
💡 Today: I listen to opinions, but I do my own research. Always.
📌 Quick conclusion:
Losing in crypto is not the problem. The problem is not learning.
And if you're reading this, you already have an advantage: you're seeking information, not promises.
