🧠 Spot or FutureStrategy — what’s the difference and how to choose yours?
Many newcomers enter crypto and hear two words: Spot and Futures. And most often do not understand the difference. I share simply and essentially — how I came to this myself.
⚪️ What is SPOT?
> You buy an asset (for example, BTC) — and it is really yours.
✅ Price rises — you are in profit
❌ Price drops — you wait or sell at a loss
Strategy for SPOT:
Buy on dips, sell in parts
Don't rush — patience is important here
Works well for the long term (for example, 6–12 months)

🔴 What is FUTURES?
> You do not own the coin, but trade a contract on price change.
✅ You can earn both on growth and on decline
❌ You can quickly lose your deposit, especially with leverage
Strategy for FUTURES:
Entry only after a clear signal (level, breakout, volumes)
Always use stop-loss
Trade with a maximum leverage of x3–x5, not higher

👀 How to understand what is closer to you?
Question Your choice
Want to hold the coin? ✅ SPOT
Want active trading? ✅ FUTURES
Patient? ✅ SPOT
Love action? ✅ FUTURES
Want to study the market? ✅ Start with SPOT

🧩 Personal strategy
I started with Spot. Now I use both models:
In SPOT, I have a long-term: $BTC $ETH $TON, $FET
In Futures, I enter when I see a specific opportunity (for example, an impulse on $SOL)
📌 The main rule — do not confuse these markets, each has its own risks.
