Is 12% in 4 months and 20 days good?
I'm talking about spot, not futures, and in my opinion, 12% in spot is very good because this is realized profit.
But this mindset depends on the capital. For example, with a total capital of 1 million, if you gain 12%, that's only 120 thousand, which is a bit of a concern.
But what if you were asked to manage a total capital of 1 billion and had to achieve a realized profit of 120 million in 4 months? Just imagine, would you dare or be able to?
I'm sure that would make you tremble, and it’s not certain you could achieve 120 million in 4 months.
What if the capital is 100 billion? If 12% in 4 months means a realized profit of 12 billion.
So in my opinion, in the context of spot trading income, 12% realized profit from total capital in 4 months is already very impressive.
