Is 12% in 4 months and 20 days good?
I'm talking about spot here, not futures, and in my opinion, 12% in spot is very good because this is realized profit.
But this mindset depends on the capital; for example, if the total capital is 1 million, a 12% profit would only be 120 thousand, which might not seem significant.
But what if you were asked to manage a total capital of 1 billion and had to achieve a realized profit of 120 million in 4 months? Just imagine if you would dare or be able to do that?
I am sure you would be trembling and it’s not guaranteed you could achieve 120 million in 4 months.
What if the capital is 100 billion? If it’s 12% in 4 months, that would mean a realized profit of 12 billion.
So in my opinion, in the context of spot trading income, 12% realized profit from total capital in 4 months is already very impressive.
