Ten years of trading cryptocurrencies, made 9 million, but it's really not just good luck; it's understanding the principles after losing enough.
Some people always ask me: "Bro, what do you look at when choosing coins and buying?"
To be honest, my current method is super simple, but the results are really stable.
I'll just explain it casually, if you can understand, then you can copy; if you can't, just consider me bragging:
First, look at the gain leaderboard.
Every time I choose a coin, the first step is to open the gain leaderboard,
and see who has moved and risen in the last half month, then add them to my watchlist.
Why? Only those that have risen attract attention, and there will be further moves later.
Second, pull out the monthly MACD.
No need for many technical indicators, just look at one thing—Golden Cross?
Only with a Golden Cross is there a trend; don't expect a rebound from an oversold condition every day; I've had enough of that kind of gambling.
Third, look at the daily line, only focus on the vicinity of the 60-day line.
As long as the coin price pulls back to near the 70-day moving average and shows volume, I'll go in heavy.
No guessing, no gambling; when the signal comes, I go in; if there's no signal, I rest.
To be honest, those still gambling below the 70-day line are mostly either losing money or getting liquidated.
Fourth, once in the market, don’t get attached; act based on the lines.
If it’s above the line, hold it; if it breaks the line, leave immediately; don’t hesitate.
Think about it, how many people end up going from profit to loss because they couldn’t bear to leave?
Anyway, I only believe in discipline now.
Fifth, take profits in phases.
If the gain exceeds 30%, I will definitely cut half;
if it reaches 50%, I’ll cut another half,
don’t think you can eat the whole segment; the market won’t feed you completely, got it?
Sixth, the most important point—if it breaks below the 70-day line, just walk away.
Whether you just bought or have been stuck for a few days, breaking below is the signal,
leave immediately, no hesitation, no soft-heartedness; this rule has saved me countless times.
Some people might say that doing this is too mechanical?
I tell you, it should be mechanical; the more emotional you are, the faster you die.
Look at the points I've mentioned; which one is difficult? None of them are difficult,
what's hard is whether you can actually do it, not whether you understand it.
So when you ask me how to turn things around and make money?
These are the rhythms I learned from losing 6 million.
There will always be market trends,
but most people will never live to see the wave of profit.
