🔐 P2P Scams on Binance#P2PScam #P2PScamAwareness $SOL
P2P (peer-to-peer) trading on Binance lets users buy/sell crypto directly with each other using local payment methods. While it’s convenient, it also opens the door to scammers if you're not careful.
⚠️ Common P2P Scams on Binance:
1. Fake Payment Screenshots 🧾
Scammer uploads fake proof of payment without actually transferring money.
You release crypto → they disappear with it.
2. Reversed Bank Transfers 🔁
Buyer sends funds via bank, receives crypto, then reverses payment (chargeback/fraud claim).
3. Third-Party Payments 👤
Someone other than the buyer sends the money.
Causes account freezes or bank fraud alerts.
4. Overpayment Trick 💸
Buyer "accidentally" sends more → asks for refund.
Then files fraud complaint to bank — double loss.
5. Fake Disputes 🛑
Buyer falsely claims they didn't receive crypto and starts a dispute to confuse new sellers.
6. Phishing & Fake Binance Pages 🎣
Scammers lure you to fake Binance pages or social media links pretending to offer support or deals.
