#BreakoutTradingStrategy
Breakout Strategy:
Traders using the breakout strategy will try to enter a position (either long or short) immediately after a breakout occurs, hoping that the price will continue the trend in the direction of the breakout.
Goal:
The main goal of the breakout strategy is to capture rapid and sharp price movements after a breakout, with the hope of profiting from the newly formed trend.
Example:
If the price of a stock rises and breaks through a resistance level at Rp100,000, and trading volume also increases, a breakout trader may buy the stock hoping that the price will continue to rise. Conversely, if the stock price falls and breaks through a support level at Rp90,000, with increased trading volume, the trader may sell the stock hoping that the price will continue to fall.
Important to remember:
Discipline:
The breakout strategy requires discipline and patience to wait for valid confirmation before entering a position.
