One of my biggest trading mistakes was overleveraging on ETH/USDT during a breakout I thought was confirmed. I entered a long position with 20x leverage, ignoring my own risk management rules because I was overly confident. The price reversed sharply after a false breakout, and I got liquidated in minutes. That experience taught me that no matter how strong a setup looks, proper stop-loss placement and reasonable leverage are non-negotiable. Another mistake was revenge trading right after — trying to make back the loss quickly only made things worse. Discipline is everything. Learn from losses; don’t trade emotionally.
