The Paris prosecutor's office has launched a formal investigation against X (Twitter) for allegedly manipulating its algorithm to favor the political opinions of Elon Musk and allow foreign interference.

The investigation is being led by the cybercrime unit J3, the same unit that acted against the founder of Telegram, adding more regulatory pressure on X in Europe.
