#USCryptoWeek It's a key week where the U.S. Congress (especially the House of Representatives) will debate and vote on three pro-crypto laws that could transform the legal landscape of cryptocurrencies in the U.S.

📜 The 3 main laws

1. GENIUS Act (on stablecoins)

Regulates stablecoins like USDC or USDT.

Requires that they be 100% backed by reserves (dollars, bonds, etc.).

Mandates issuers to register with federal or state oversight.

It has already been approved by the Senate (68–30). If the House approves it, it will go to President Trump's desk for signature.

2. CLARITY Act (on regulatory jurisdiction)

Defines which digital assets are securities (SEC) or commodities (CFTC).

Would give the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) exclusive authority over many cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

3. Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act

Prohibits the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency (CBDC) directly to the public.

It is based on concerns about privacy and government surveillance.
