$BTC Tether will stop supporting USDT on 6 less-used blockchains including: Omni, SLP (Bitcoin Cash), Kusama, EOS, Algorand, and Simple Ledger Protocol starting from September 1, 2025.

The reason is that the trading volume on these networks has significantly decreased over the past 2 years.

Tether will focus on developing on Layer 2 platforms and new generation blockchains.
