#HAEDAL2025
What is the Haedal Protocol?
Haedal Protocol is a liquid staking protocol developed on the Sui blockchain. Its main objective is to allow users to stake their SUI tokens (and also WAL) to contribute to the security, governance, and decentralization of the Sui network, without losing the liquidity of their assets.
In other words, when you stake your SUI through Haedal, you receive haSUI tokens in return. These haSUI are tokens that represent your participation in staking and reward accumulation, but unlike traditional staking that locks your assets, haSUI are liquid. This means you can use them in other decentralized finance (DeFi) applications within the Sui ecosystem to earn additional yields, while still earning rewards from the original staking.
The HAEDAL Token (the cryptocurrency)
The HAEDAL token is the native cryptocurrency of the Haedal Protocol. It should not be confused with haSUI, which is the liquid staking token.
