I never imagined I would write this, but I woke up today to a terrifying reality - I lost my entire $1600 investment while I was asleep. It was my worst move yet: I had placed several low limit orders on different currencies and decided to take a rest, confident in the system. When I woke up, everything had disappeared. Just like that.

The really painful thing is that this wasn't just my account - I was trading on behalf of my brother, hoping to surprise him with a profit on his birthday. I really thought I could achieve that. But instead, I ended up losing everything.

It's a harsh reminder of how deep the world of cryptocurrencies is, its volatility, and its cruelty. I'm trying to keep myself busy so it doesn't consume me completely, but yes - it hurts. It really hurts.
