Not long ago, I used to scroll Twitter (X), hunt for crypto signals on Telegram, and read the news 24/7, hoping to make some profit in trading. Sometimes it worked... but in the bear run it didn't work out for me. Then I got into AI. This doesn’t mean just asking ChatGPT which altcoin will be 100X or where I should invest… I mean actual AI trading bots that analyze market data, make trades automatically, and grow your portfolio. That's what I have heard about mostly, so I thought, Let's give it a try. Well, it's important to understand that trading bots are API integrations entirely under your control, and an AI trading bot is as good as you set it up to be.

I tried 4-5 AI trading bots. The first one I invested in, 3Commas, is generally considered best for experienced traders and professionals in the crypto community, but that's what I heard, as it is a complex tool with advanced features. It delivered me $15+ with an investment of $500, but its AI bot package ranges up to $79 per month, depending on the number of exchanges you use. Felt kind of expensive according to the return that I was getting.

Then the 2nd one I used was Bitsgap. Here I invested $800, and it made me $10+ in a month, but the advanced version of Bitsgap cost me $56 per month less than 3Commas, yet it was not great in terms of return.

Then the 3rd is Terarium, which invested $300 and generated $12, and it costs $15/month, but I got a beta trial invitation, so right now it does not cost anything to me, but the minimum investment is $300. Their robot-advisor manages my portfolio independently, based on my goals and the current market situation. Let's see how this unfolds when the main product gets live

Then at last Cryptohopper invested $300 and made around $8+. What I like about this is that you can also sell and buy tracking orders by setting your desired price direction without waiting for hours in front of your PC. Still, their return was minimal.

Returns were minimal in each of these cases, but I was able to get those returns even in binary markets. Only if I play these AI bots a little right, I believe I can do better. Each one of these AI bots has advantages and disadvantages. However, as mentioned earlier, your AI trading bot is only as good as you set it to be. Artificial intelligence might be a tool that makes investing easier and simpler for many, but no one knows about the future, and in crypto, nothing stays permanent; even narratives fade in bear runs, but make sure you DO DYOR before jumping into any of these bots.
