Have you zeroed your futures account more than once?
I personally lost the count but i'm at least $35K under in the past 4.5 years.
I've been betting on futures for the past 4.5 years with varying sucess. There have been times when I'd 20X my account in 40 days and then zero it out in a week.
When I look back it's mainly due to impulsive trading without firm stop loss and risk managment rules.
So I'm putting myself through a challange here. Starting Monday 7.7.2025 for the next 90 days (until 7.10.2025) to keep track here of all my trades, put stop loss of up to 3% of the futures account, 9% dayly stop out (Stop trading at 9% loss). Entry leverage will be determined by price action and velocity but shall not exceed 6X unless certain velocity criteria are met. Take profit targets will be 0.35% to 0.7% depending on velociti and price action again.
I will be trading BTC/USDC pair only. I'm not setting profit targer, but I'm eyeing 10% to 30% weekly profit and will stop trading at more than 30% dayly profit.
I will be describing my entry and exit strategy while sharing, because it is based on screen time and market knowledge rather than technical indicators.
