Main target: China 🇨🇳 (also countries like Canada 🇨🇦 and Mexico 🇲🇽 for steel and aluminum)

What happened:

Some U.S. industries got help 👍

Prices went up for many things 💵⬆️

Farmers lost money because other countries stopped buying their goods 🌽🚫🌍
