The Japanese investment company Metaplanet announced the purchase of 2205 bitcoins for $238.7 million. Thus, the firm has raised the total volume of its crypto reserves to 15,555 BTC.
The deal was made at an average price of about $108,237 per coin, reported the company's CEO Simon Gerovich. At the time of publication, the company's bitcoin reserves are valued at $1.7 billion.
