The TON Foundation is aware of the early announcement that circulated on platform X regarding the alleged "Golden Visa Initiative" supposedly offered through TON. We would like to clarify:
This initiative is the result of an independent collaboration between TON and a licensed partner specialized in blockchain and digital assets, and it is still in its early stages with no official agreement made with the UAE government.
There is no official program for granting the golden visa that has been launched in partnership with the UAE government or has received its approval.
The initiative aims only to explore how existing blockchain frameworks can potentially support future pathways for legal residency, while adhering to all laws and regulations. Merely applying does not guarantee obtaining the visa, which remains at the discretion of the competent UAE authorities.
TON also supports the joint statement issued by the official UAE bodies (Identity and Citizenship, Securities and Commodities Authority, and Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority) confirming that there is no official initiative for digital or investment visas in partnership with the government.
