**El Salvador Adds 8 Bitcoin, Ownership Reaches 0.03% of Supply**

The government of El Salvador has added 8 Bitcoin (BTC) to its reserves in the past week. With this, the total Bitcoin holdings of the country now amount to 6,230 BTC, equivalent to 0.03% of the total supply available.

According to the latest data from the Bitcoin Office, the value held by El Salvador is currently equivalent to US$682 million or more than Rp11 trillion. Compared to last week, there is an increase of US$875,825 from this addition.

This addition demonstrates the country's commitment to gradually strengthen its crypto reserves. Despite the International Monetary Fund previously prohibiting the country led by President Nayib Bukele from accumulating Bitcoin massively.

On the other hand, this accumulation of Bitcoin has continued since El Salvador became the first country to make BTC legal tender.
