🇺🇸 Elon Musk launches “The American Party”: a new political breath?

July 2025 — Elon Musk, a globally known entrepreneur for his companies like Tesla, SpaceX, or X (formerly Twitter), has officially announced the creation of a new political movement: “The American Party”.

In the face of what he describes as the decline of the two major traditional parties, Musk wants to offer an alternative that is “more rational, more modern, and more free.” He stated he wants to “restore common sense, freedom of speech, and the spirit of innovation” in the United States.

The first lines of the program include:

The defense of individual and digital freedoms,

Support for cryptocurrencies,

Education reform with a focus on AI, coding, and science,

Promotion of technology in service of national sovereignty,

Controlled but humane immigration.

Musk has not (yet) announced his candidacy for the 2028 presidential election, but his party is already attracting the attention of millions of Americans tired of the current political system.
