The Binance platform, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, has revealed that it will stop supporting Polygon in the non-fungible token "NFT" market.
The exchange stated that the decision was part of its "ongoing efforts to simplify product offerings in the Binance NFT market."
The news comes after Binance's CEO, Changpeng Zhao, denied on X the "rumors" that executives had left the company or that it was liquidating any of its projects.
However, he added in the same message that Binance was managing a "smooth phase-out of old products."
The announcement made on Friday indicated that users would not be able to buy or list NFTs from Polygon in the market after 6 AM UTC on September 26.
