In July, tokens worth billions of dollars will enter the market

July 2025 promises to be one of the most active months in terms of token unlocks in the cryptocurrency market.

According to analytics platforms, throughout the month, a number of leading projects, including Sui, Ethena, Immutable, Aptos, Sei, Starknet, Arbitrum, Trump, LayerZero, Avail, and Venom, will undergo significant unlocks. The total value of unlocked assets will exceed 1 billion dollars, which could have a significant impact on the price dynamics and volatility of the respective tokens.

Token unlocking is the process by which previously frozen tokens become available for free circulation. Such measures are usually used to protect the market from an immediate price crash after a project's launch: tokens are distributed among the team, investors, consultants, and partners according to a specific vesting schedule.
