– 80% of attacks are related to seed phrases, private keys, and fake websites
– On average, hacks bring hackers ~$30 million
– The most was stolen from Bybit — $1.5 billion, suspected to be Lazarus from North Korea
Recently, the Iranian exchange Nobitex was hacked for $90 million — this is already being called a cyberwar between countries.
We are being told about Web3 and decentralization, but users are still losing billions due to leaks of seed phrases and phishing. Neither a cold wallet nor Ledger will save you if you log into a fake website😐

– Enable two-factor authentication everywhere you can
– Never enter a seed phrase manually — especially on websites
– Always check the URL before accessing your wallet or signing anything
