Circle, the issuer of the stablecoin $USDC , announced the launch of Circle Gateway — an innovative system for unified access to USDC across different blockchains without the need for traditional bridges. According to a press release dated July 1, 2025, Gateway allows users to obtain instant liquidity of USDC on networks such as Ethereum, Avalanche, and Base, with plans to expand to other blockchains. The system uses a mechanism of burning and issuing tokens, which enhances security and eliminates the need for pre-funding liquidity.

Circle Gateway simplifies cross-chain transactions, reducing complexity and costs for businesses and developers. According to Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire, this solution provides a 'seamless cross-chain experience' for USDC, facilitating the mass adoption of stablecoins. Currently, USDC is deployed on 23 blockchains, with a total volume of $38 billion on Ethereum and $7.3 billion on Solana. The launch of Gateway on test networks will begin in July 2025.

This move strengthens USDC's position as the leading regulated stablecoin, competing with USDT. Will Gateway become the new standard for DeFi? Learn more by subscribing to #MiningUpdates #CircleGateway #USDC #BlockchainInteroperability #stablecoin #defi
