It was a great honour to meet His Majesty the King of Bhutan.

Bhutan is not only known for its stunning natural beauty but also for how it preserves its culture while embracing innovation. Under His Majesty’s visionary leadership, the country has achieved remarkable progress.

For example, Bhutan is now the 5th largest nation-state holder of Bitcoin, having started mining it with green energy five years ago. The Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) also plays a key role by supporting crypto innovation and holding crypto as part of the country’s strategic reserves.

I also shared with His Majesty the successful launch of Binance Pay for tourism payments and expressed our continued support for the Kingdom’s forward-looking initiatives.
