Aptos CEO Joins CFTC Digital Asset Subcommittee, Token Price Recorded to Rise

Avery Ching, CEO of Aptos (APT) Labs, has officially been appointed as a member of the Digital Asset Market Subcommittee under the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Ching's involvement signifies the openness of U.S. regulators to the developments in the crypto industry. He will collaborate with several key figures from the Web3 and global finance sectors to design digital asset regulatory policies.

"Now is a critical moment to push pro-crypto regulations across the finish line," said CEO of Blockchain Association and former CFTC commissioner Summer Mersinger.

Meanwhile, the price of the APT token has surged by 12.85% over the past week and is now priced at US$4.91. Ching's appointment is seen as strengthening Aptos's position as a significant player in the global blockchain arena.
