Several NFT groups backed by Matt Furie, the creator of Pepe, suffered a massive breach after accidentally hiring a North Korean employee for an IT position. The same group attacked another company, Favrr, resulting in total losses of a million dollars.

Furie collaborated with Chainsaw, a non-fungible token (NFT) company, which apparently hired one of its hackers for an IT role. Favrr hired one of the hackers as the Chief Technology Officer, demonstrating a concerning neglect of project security.
