⚠️attention please
Why Is Commission Taken on Small Profits?
1. Fees are based on trade volume, not profit.
Binance calculates the fee on the total trade value, not on how much you profit.
In your case, you traded 28,701 ALT at $776 total trade volume**, even if profit was just $1.
2. Every trade (entry + exit) incurs a fee:
Entry fee (when you open a position)
Exit fee (when you close it)
Both are usually 0.04% to 0.1% each, depending on maker/taker status and whether you use BNB to pay fees.
3. Market orders cost more:
If you used market orders, Binance treats you as a taker, which has higher fees.
Taker fee can be 0.1% per side, meaning 0.2% total on the full trade volume.
