The battle between Ripple and the SEC began in 2020 and made many question the future of XRP. Now, with both parties withdrawing their appeals, Ripple has agreed to pay a settlement of USD 50 million, much less than the previous USD 125 million.
This agreement also removes the court's restrictions on Ripple's sales of XRP to institutions, opening new business opportunities.
