Approving your WCT tokens for staking.
📝 Step 2: Approve WCT for Staking
🔒 Why Approval is Needed:
Before staking, your wallet must give permission to the staking smart contract to access your WCT tokens. This is a one-time approval unless you reset it later.
🪜 Steps:
1. Make sure you're connected to the WalletConnect Staking Page using MetaMask on the Optimism network.
2. Click “Stake”
The dashboard will show your WCT balance and a “Stake” button.
Click it to begin the process.
3. Enter the Amount to Stake
Type how much WCT you want to stake (e.g., 100 WCT).
4. Click “Approve WCT”
This triggers a MetaMask transaction.
Gas Fee: You’ll need a small amount of ETH on Optimism (usually < $0.50 worth).
5. Confirm the Transaction
In MetaMask, click “Confirm.”
Wait a few seconds until the transaction is confirmed on Optimism.
✅ Done! Your WCT is now approved for staking.
