@CheckDot-is-SAFU - from obscurity to a $1.29 ATH

In Jan 2023 CDT changed hands at $0.17; few outside the core Discord even knew the ticker. Twelve months later the token printed $1.29 and sat on a CEX homepage. Here’s the short playbook behind that jump.

1. Micro + macro KOL mix

Every other Monday we launched a meme-rich thread through 8-12 micro accounts (50-150 k). Their engagement rate was ~4× higher than macros, so we spiced buzz (micro, $350) with authority (macro, $4 k).

2. Email-driven look-alike ads

We built hashed, opt-in lists of #DeFi -insurance users and fed them into Meta Ads. Clicks were stitched back to on-chain actions in a Dune dashboard, so every dollar had a provable ROI.

3. Three-step email drips

Welcome → use-case → social proof. Average 32 % open / 9 % CTR; every click landed straight on the staking screen.

4. Exchange momentum

For the MEXC Kickstarter we primed holders with daily countdown posts; voters locked 44.78 M MX and trading opened 18 Mar 2024.

#MEXC

- Price: $0.17 → $1.29 (+659 %)

#bitdegree

#Coinbase

- X and Telegram audiences more than doubled (internal analytics).

- first MEXC week pushed daily volume above $200 k (CMC).

Takes:

- Micro creators beat macros on raw engagement; pairing both keeps CPM sane.

- Email-based look-alikes still outrun broad crypto ads when conversion is verified on-chain.

- A single, well-timed CEX event can concentrate latent interest and snowball organic PR.
