Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA), the embattled cryptocurrency project that has spun off from both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, has changed its name to eCash (XEC).

The relaunch of the project will allow the integration of the "Avalanche" proof-of-stake consensus layer, introducing staking and considerably increasing the speed of transactions.

eCash will also reduce its decimals from eight to two, with lead developer Amaury Sechet stating:

“No other money has eight decimal places. Why should cryptocurrencies? Cryptocurrencies with a lower unit price also enjoy greater bull market appreciation. Because the eCash team is incentivized by both technology and improved pricing, this improvement was a no-brainer." #xec #Bitcoin/USDT.
