The ceasefire between Iran and Israel boosts optimism

The conflict between Israel and Iran represents one of the last obstacles that the U.S. market seems to have successfully overcome this year. Traders have expressed hope that the delicate ceasefire announced by U.S. President Donald Trump between the two countries will hold. Despite investors' concerns about factors such as the return of inflation due to tariffs and the strength of U.S. consumer spending, U.S. stocks have shown a remarkable ability to rebound from consecutive declines in recent months.

Joe Terranova, Senior Managing Director at Virtus Investment Partners, said in an interview with CNBC: "The market continues to rise. I use the word 'resilience' and I will use it again and again, because this is one of the most resilient markets I have ever seen."
