Real experiences + suggested reference guide (save for future use)
Recently, many friends in the circle have been targeted by banks for 'paying U'. Some have had their cards frozen, and some have been called to the bank for a 'tea chat'.
In fact, as long as you prepare in advance, most risk controls can be safely navigated.
Based on my own and my friends' experiences, I summarized 3 common inquiries from banks + standard response phrases, remember to save!
The bank asks: 'What is the source of your large transfer funds?'
You can respond:
These funds are all from side business income, part-time settlement, or helping friends and family with transfers. Each transaction has chat and work records that can be checked.
Key point: Do not actively mention sensitive words like virtual currency, paying U, etc., only discuss legitimate economic transactions.
The bank says: 'Your account involves suspicious funds, and you need to return everything!'
You can respond:
I actively cooperate with the bank's investigation. If there are indeed problems, I am willing to return the portion involved in the risk, but the actual situation needs to be verified clearly.
Key point: Cooperate with the attitude, but do not actively take all the responsibility, keep negotiation space.
The bank hints: 'If you do not cooperate, it may affect the use of other bank cards.'
You can respond:
I fully cooperate with all investigations and have provided all necessary evidence. I believe that after thorough verification, it will not affect my other normal business and card usage.
Key point: Emphasize cooperation and innocence, express that you know the law and abide by it, and are willing to find out the truth.
✅ Risk Control Tips
Don't pay U for strangers, no matter how high the fee is, don't accept it.
If you receive a risk control text message or call, take a screenshot immediately and save it, and prepare all chat/transaction records related to the transfer.
It is recommended to conduct large transactions in batches to avoid triggering the bank's alert with a single large movement.
Once your card is frozen, consult a professional lawyer or experienced friends in the crypto circle as a priority.
Remember: The safety of your bank card is always more important than earning transaction fees.
In the face of risk control, staying calm + sufficient evidence + cooperation in the investigation = optimal solution.
