Oil prices recorded a sharp decline of 5% during these moments of trading on Tuesday, after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that China could continue to buy oil from Iran, following the conclusion of a ceasefire agreement in the Middle East. Brent crude, the global benchmark, fell by $3.45, or 4.83%, to reach $68.03 per barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. crude dropped by $3.37, or 4.92%, to record $65.14 per barrel.
