Not only limited to Tehran, regional media reported that the city of Babolsar – a coastal urban area in northern Iran along the Caspian Sea – has also become a target of the Israeli Air Force. According to information from Iran's official news agency – Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) – on June 24, the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel has officially entered the stage of practical implementation.
However, according to Reuters, Israeli Defense Minister – Israel Katz – stated that Iran had 'completely violated' the ceasefire recently established between the two countries, affirming that Israel would respond with force and continue its military campaign targeting objectives in the capital Tehran.
According to sources from Axios, U.S. President Donald Trump recently had a direct phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which Trump urged Israel to halt its plans to attack Iran. Trump's proposal came amid rising tensions in the Middle East following allegations that Iran violated the ceasefire agreement with Israel.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected Trump's call. He emphasized that Israel is compelled to act in response to Iran's breach of commitments in the ceasefire agreement, while also protecting national security against threats from Tehran.
