🚨I can't believe it's already 2025, and I still made such a rookie-level mistake. I’m really crying in frustration over my own actions——

This morning started as a small task: I wanted to consolidate the small amount of scattered silver on-chain, transfer it back to Binance, wrap things up, and achieve some tidiness.

The first few transactions went smoothly—BSC, ARB, Polygon—everything was smooth sailing. Until the last transaction—IMX-ETH.

I waited nearly 5 minutes for the blockchain confirmation, but Binance remained silent.

I thought it was stuck on the chain, but as I waited and thought more, it didn’t seem right. I opened the transaction history to take a closer look——

Oh my god, I used Immutable zkEVM, and Binance's ETH doesn't support deposits and withdrawals on that chain at all!

Suddenly, my head buzzed, two words: it’s over. I could almost hear the sound of funds flowing away through my fingers.

I checked Binance's self-service recovery page, and the fee was 200U, while the amount of ETH I transferred was just worth 200U...

Good grief, recovering it would be like throwing water into the sea.

After weighing it for a minute, I decided to give up. Forget it; I won’t pursue it anymore.

Let's talk when ETH rises to 1wu, or if @binance one day shows mercy and supports IMX-ETH deposits and withdrawals, then it will be like seeing the light again. 😂

This incident has also reminded me——

1⃣ Retail investors must always maintain a sense of awe when operating on-chain. The more chains there are, the more pitfalls there are; the more experienced you are, the less safe it may be.

2⃣ Don’t operate when you’re fatigued, and don’t operate casually when your mind is busy with other things. Treat every step as if you are a beginner, and double-check everything.

3⃣ Wallet consolidation is a meticulous task. Sometimes going slow is actually more stable; stability is the only way to combat long-term volatility.

This market is already tough enough; don’t trip yourself up again.

One experience like this is enough; don’t follow my example, really!
