📉 Jim Cramer, host of “Mad Money”, has a reputation for making terrible financial predictions. In fact, he’s so bad that there’s a “Reverse Cramer” ETF that does the opposite of what he recommends. But how is it possible to be so wrong, so consistently?
Partly it’s because he’s so loud and confident, as part of his show’s style. It makes his mistakes more memorable. But also, his job is to entertain and engage viewers, not to act as a financial advisor.
He’s not so very different from the many, many crypto influencers who make money from clicks.
