and adds new blocks to the

blockchain. Example: Validators on the Ethereum 2.0 network.

2-A cryptographic method by which one party can prove to another that a statement is true without revealing any specific information about the statement. Example: Used in privacy-focused cryptocurrencies like Zcash.

3-The total value of a cryptocurrency, calculated by multiplying the current price by the total supply of coins.

Example: Bitcoin's market cap is calculated by multiplying the price of one Bitcoin by the total number of Bitcoins in circulation.
