To celebrate its launch on COTI last month, private perp DEX PriveX is holding a series of trading competitions. Here’s what you need to know.
Three Months, Six Competitions, $65,000 Prize Pool
The first of six trading competitions kicks off today on PriveX (Prvx.io) with a further 5 competitions launching bi-weekly over the next three months, offering a prize pool totalling $65,000 in $COTI and $SYMM. SYMM is the native token of Symm.io, the platform powering PriveX’s derivatives trading.
The contest is based purely on trading volumes. There are no P&L metrics, no minimum trade sizes, and no complex strategies. Any trade made via COTI network on PriveX, no matter how big or small, will count towards a traders ranking, which can then be tracked live on the competition page.

Anyone generating volume via COTI will automatically be part of the competition.
The total prize pool for epoch 1 is $3,000 in $COTI and $SYMM, 48,000 PriveX Points, and 10 Symmio NFTs. The top 10 traders by volume will receive the following prizes:
🥇 1st: $700 + PriveX Points + NFT🥈 2nd: $500 + PriveX Points + NFT🥉 3rd: $400 + PriveX Points + NFT🏅 4th: $300 + PriveX Points + NFT🏅 5th: $250 + PriveX Points + NFT🏅 6th: $200 + PriveX Points + NFT🏅 7th: $200 + PriveX Points + NFT🏅 8th: $150 + PriveX Points + NFT🏅 9th: $150 + PriveX Points + NFT🏅 10th: $150 + PriveX Points + NFT

Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 participating traders at the end of each contest (every two weeks), and the prize pool will grow each round as more users join!
Aside from the trading prizes, $6,500 in rewards will be available for meta-game objectives and social hype. These are additional goals, including collecting medals, earning titles, sharing trades and other information on social media, and so on.
Finally, at the end of the six competitions, $6,500 will be allocated for series-wide winners , including Volume Beast (highest total volume), P&L Champion (highest cumulative P&L), Sharp Shooter (largest single-trade profit), and more!
